As always we are constantly improving our dampers to suit the needs of road and race customers. The GP10 unit is based around these developments and improvements we have made from our GP7 unit over the previous 2 years.

The GP10 unit has our easy to adjust preload adjuster. You simply insert
a Tommy Bar into the holes in the preload locking ring and drive the ring
around. The preload ring is positioned so you can access it on the bike
easily. There is no need to loosen grub screws, so the preload can be
altered in seconds! Occasionally there are installations where the preload ring is not accessible. In these cases we can supply our new Hydraulic Preload Adjuster. As mentioned above the design of the compression damping valves means that changing the range of adjustment and damping curve, can be done in a few minutes. All of the above makes the damper easier to work on and more convenient to set up. Like an engine a shock absorber needs to allow the fluid inside to circulate or flow easily through the relevant galleries. The oil inside the GP10 damper flows unrestricted through the internal galleries, improving the action of the shock absorber and increasing the performance of the damping. The end result of this improvement is increased feel at the rear of the bike, especially under power. |
