The WR26 twinshocks are an alloy bodied, piggyback gas twinshock. They are 4
way adjustable, meaning they are separately adjustable for rebound damping,
compression damping, preload and ride height adjustment. The rebound damping is altered by a hand wheel at the bottom of the shock, this has 20 clicks of damping adjustment. The compression damping is altered at the top of the shock via a hand wheel also. This has 25 clicks of damping adjustment. The preload is altered with our own quick and easy Tommy Bar’ preload ring. To change the preload you simply insert the tommy bar provided with the twinshocks, into the preload ring and drive the ring around. We supply the WR26 for two different uses. One is for the rear of motorbikes (modern or classic) and the other for the front of racing sidecars. The WR26 sidecar twinshocks are used by :
The WR26 shock is gas pressurized. This allows more control of the how much the suspension moves. This means that you can run a softer spring rate, which in turn allows the suspension to track the road better and give more 'feel² to the rider. The gas pressure also replaces any air, meaning the damping is less likely to fade with use. The WR26 twinshock has been designed and developed by our in-house by our team of engineers and technicians. We have designed it to be the most adjustable piggyback gas twinshock on the market. It is manufactured from 7075 T6 Alloy to save as much weight as possible, whilst keeping its strength and durability. All the individual components have been anodized to prevent corrosion. |

The internals of the twinshock have been designed so
the oil can flow around the chambers with ease, allowing better performance
over a low and high speed movement. All internal moving parts have friction
free bearings fitted, to prevent wear and "sticktion".
