Description

The ultimate, race-legal rear suspension upgrade for cantilever Yamaha TZ frames. Built upon our championship-winning RT10 platform, the RT10 TZ monoshock delivers modern track performance engineered specifically for classic racing chassis.

Designed to fit standard Yamaha TZ250, TZ350, TZ500, and TZ750 frames, as well as Harris and Spondon variants, this unit bolts directly into place with zero modifications required to your frame or fuel tank.

Standout Feature: Integrated Remote Reservoir (Full Eligibility)

Unlike standard modern shocks, the RT10 TZ achieves full high and low-speed compression adjustment without an external remote reservoir. By packaging this advanced tech entirely within the unit, the monoshock remains fully compliant with strict eligibility rules for all major classic racing series, including the Classic TT, CRMC, and ICGP.

Key Features & Engineering
• Bespoke, Built-to-Order Construction: Every unit is machined and hand-assembled in-house from premium 7075-T6 billet alloy, then hard-anodised to guarantee maximum durability against wear and corrosion.
• Anti-Fade Gas Pressurisation: A high-performance nitrogen gas-pressurised system utilizes a specialized floating piston to separate the gas and oil, ensuring zero damping fade under gruelling race conditions.
• Next-Gen Internal Valving: Features an updated high-flow piston design that increases oil volume movement, providing unmatched rear-wheel feedback and mechanical grip—an invaluable advantage when racing in wet conditions.
• 5-Way Independent Adjustability:
o Rebound damping (clicker)
o High-speed compression damping
o Low-speed compression damping
o Ride height adjustment
o 'Tommy Bar' Preload System: Adjust your preload in seconds without loosening finicky grub screws. Simply insert the provided tool into the collar and rotate.

Setup and Base Tuning
Every Maxton shock is valved and sprung individually to match your exact rider weight and racing discipline. Our engineers ship each unit preset to a tailored base setting, allowing you to bolt it directly onto your bike and hit the track immediately.

Ordering Requirements
Because classic race chassis are frequently updated or modified, we build each unit to your exact specifications. When ordering, please provide the following details (or contact us for our recommended setups):
1. Fully extended length (measured centre-to-centre between the mounting eyes)
2. Top eye dimensions (bolt diameter and total width across the flats)
3. Bottom eye dimensions (bolt diameter and total width across the flats)
